The Great Forest is an out-and-back treasure hunt type game. Be the first player to gather your assignment items and return to town. The game is quick and easy to learn and is suited for people of all ages (Note: The 14+ label is for some Event Cards some younger players might find a bit unsettling, though I do believe they are exposed to much more unsettling images on tv and video games). The game starts off leisurely as the players head off into the Great Forest in search of their assignment items but will soon enough turn competitive and engaging as players root for perils to befall their opponents. Though, sometimes, cooperative play might be advisable… Made for 2-6 players, but definitely more engaging and fun with 3 or more.
